Hi! first of all I want to thank whoever answered my last question...You helped me alot! OK. I went to this running camp and had an absolute BLAST!!! I was the youngest one there out of 96 runners. But that didn't really matter to me. in fact I think the older runners kinda respected me(which is really cool!) At first I didn't really want to go but now I wish I was still there! My question is How can I keep in the great shape that I got in during camp?? I want to continue to feel great after I run. How can I continue this so I can keep getting better?
Glad to hear you went ahead and attended the camp, that is aweome. Maybe you can send us some pictures and some highlights and we can tell other runners about it. On staying in shape, suggest you take what you learned at the camp And follow that through the summer. Use your “Journal” in your MyYR space and keep track of what you do each day. When you go back to school…..go to the cross country coach, take your journal and show the coach what you have been doing and ask for a plan. If you don’t have a school team, go to Find a Team on the home page and locate a cross country club near you and join up. Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing. YR
