A lot of people will run twice a day. Is it a good idea to run once in the morning and then again at track practice?
Many high school cross country teams will do "daily doubles" or a run in the morning and again in the late afternoon or evening during the pre-season or summer time practices..........to get into condition and prepare for the first race. Otherwise, running twice a day is something that you should confer with you coach about. Running as many miles as you can is not always the best way to train.
