Ryan......also, I'm a high school soph and want to qualify for footlocker this year, what kind of weekly mileage should I be doing on my own until the team starts practicing together.
It would be unwise for me to throw a number at you without knowing more about your training. The best recommendation that I could make would be to increase your weekly mileage from last year by 20% or so (depending on how much you have done in the past). I would just recommend paying attention to your body...if you are feeling tired than doing extra mileage will just make you feel worse. Only run as much as your body will let you.
