Hey, Ryan. It's cool that you are taking the time to answer questions. My question is: How do you stay motivated after a bad workout or race? For me, sometimes it's tough to push myself after a bad race. Good luck at the Olympic Trials Marathon in NYC.
I too have struggled with this one but it is something I am getting better at as I mature. I think there are two things that I think about after bad races that helps me stay motivated. The first thing is to keep the big picture mentality. When I am able to see how the race fits into the overall season or even my carreer. This keeps me from blowing any one race out of perspective. The other thing to remember is why you run. This keeps my motivation in check.
