Well im a Kansas runner and am going to attend a Cross Country Camp in July at Eugene Oregon and was wondering if i should be worried about being outran since Oregon is at altitude? And will the altitude effect me when i get back to Kansas?
You will certainly enjoy the great running in Eugene at your camp with Hayward Field, Pre's Trail and so many other great runner friendly opportunities. The elevation is 430 feet above sea level so you will not need to worry about adjustment. There are higher altitude areas in Oregon but located in different areas of the state. The only thing that will affect you upon your return to Kansas is the training and the experience you get from the camp. Good luck..! Eugene is a fantastic place to train.
