Ever since watching the 2010 Winter Olympics, i have been inspired to dedicate my life to making my dream(to become an Olympic long-distance runner)a reality. I'm 16 years old and i've always enjoyed running and been fair at it, but i've never tried to excel in running. I'm willing to put my life into this, but i just get so nervous thinking about the competition. I've always been a mental runner. I want to be more than i am now. Something in my life is missing and i feel like God is telling me this is it. Honestly, do i have a chance? Do dreams like this actually come true or am i just another naive olympic-hopeful?
