Hi! I'm a 13 year old girl. Last year, I ran a 5K with absolutely no training in 24 minutes and 36 seconds. In about 2 months, I'm going to do the same race again. How should I train for this race? I mean a training schedule, etc. I can run a mile in 6:20 if you need to know. The course is mostly flat. Thanks!
If you enjoy running, you should do some easy runs and build an aerobic foundation for future success. As you get older, natural ability becomes less important and fitness level becomes more important. Have Fun
