North Shore Striders
About the team.
The North Shore Striders (NSS) running club started in 1968 as a competitive track and road racing organization. The club included legendary Duluthian Garry Bjorklund, a 1976 10,000 meter Olympian and two-time Grandma’s Marathon champion. In the early 1970′s the NSS changed its mission to be an exclusive road racing organization and their primary objective was to organize recreational running events throughout the community.
